Testing Gateway – must pass in order to receive a GCPS diploma –Science and Social Studies EOC Milestone counts for 20% of class grade. –10 th Grade Analytic Geometry, Physical Science –11 th Grade American Literature, US History PSAT was administered in October of Sophomore year. –Juniors were able to pay to take test (National Merit Scholarship). –Scores will be released to students in January.

Social Media and College Acceptance Colleges and employers are trending more and more towards using social media to recruit and research! According to HuffPost Ed… 27% of admissions officers used Google or Social Media to screen students. 35% found something that negatively impacted chances. Don’t put too much stock in deleting things. Use your online presence to highlight your interests/activities and supplement your application.
