T his is a blended course. (Online preview + On the phone class + Offline Essay writing) Therefore teachers should let students know rules below first. S tudents' Rule 1. Read the article first. If you don’t read the article in advance, this course won't work at all. 2. Attend simple Essay assignment faithfully. No matter how short it is, write your opinion every time. T eacher's Rule 1. Read the article first. If you don’t read the article in advance, this course won't work at all, either. 2. Lead a fun class and Praise students always. 3. If students speak eagerly about one thing, you can make students talk. Even though you have lots of things to do during the class, speaking freely and delightfully is way better important. 4. Induce students speak more than teachers. Ask many related questions as many as possible. Do you think this system is helpful to foreigners? CASE 3) With Prints. No proof Reading 1. Instead of summarizing each paragraph, try to make students understand the article fully first by making students read the article. E.g.) Would you read the article loudly? 2. Have students summarize each paragraph. (If you can't finish this within allotted time, you can choose 2-3 of them.) 3. Ask comprehension questions regarding each paragraph. 4. Have students describe one picture. If students can describe the picture in detail, just let them describe it. However students have hard time to describe it, give them more detail questions. E.g.) What do you think men in the picture are doing? Can you guess where they are from? What colors can you see on this picture? * Free Talking *The most important thing in this part is to have students speak freely and delightfully by using short news. Ask many related questions as many as possible* 2.Correct their mistakes simply. (Grammar/ Pronunciation) 1.Wrap up should be covered before you finish. (General greeting and reminding students to read article in advance are needed) 1.Have students summarize the short article briefly. 2.Ask some comprehension questions regarding the article. 3.Have students make their own headlines. Giving original headlines would be good.  (After students’ answer) (If there is no time to cover 2 paragraphs, you can skip second one.) 1min 4min 2min Please Check “Numbers of Cases” ! Do you know Lindsay Lohan? How do you feel about her? CASE 2) No Prints. With Proof Reading 1. Ask students about the picture. ( If students can't remember the picture at all, describe it briefly and tell them to check the picture on the web) E.g.) Can you remember the picture? What was that?"
