Why does Leland Public School need to switch to Biofuel? Leland Public School is currently not running on any renewable energy. The closest thing to renewable energy that this school has is Natural Gas. Biofuel burns much cleaner than any burning oil, therefore it is better for the environment. Leland Public School is currently not running on any renewable energy. The closest thing to renewable energy that this school has is Natural Gas. Biofuel burns much cleaner than any burning oil, therefore it is better for the environment.

Pros and Cons of biofuels Pros Pros -they are easy to use -they don’t contribute to Global Warming (unless purpose is changed) -it is cleaner than any other burning oil -”unlike other forms of renewable energy (like hydrogen, solar or wind), biofuels are easy for people and businesses to transition to without special apparatus or a change in vehicle or home heating infrastructure—you can just fill your existing car, truck or home oil tank with it.” about.com wind Cons Cons -biofuel is hard to find -biofuel is made from corn~ if everyone starts to use biofuels, we may run out of our supply of corn; leaving humans with out it -changing the purpose of biofuels will put out more carbon dioxide, which is one cause of Global Warming -oil can be pumped out of the ground more efficiently than biofuels can be produced

If we switch to biofuel…. We will help the environment We will help the environment We will save our school money in the future We will save our school money in the future We will stop our school from using Natural Gas, which is very bad for the environment. We will stop our school from using Natural Gas, which is very bad for the environment. We will provide more people with jobs because we need to produce the biofuels somehow. We will provide more people with jobs because we need to produce the biofuels somehow. We will have more energy than we have now We will have more energy than we have now

Positive Effect By switching to biofuel, Leland Public Schools would be making a really great decision. Think about how much the planet Earth needs you to switch to biofuel; - yes, that’s right, Earth needs you to switch bad. It needs you to help save it. At least try.
