Summary Realizing the impact that music and poetry can make in a rural society that is Tunkhannock. A group of five bright minds decided that the creation of a radio station designed to showcase local artists was an idea, best for our town. Thus, 99.8 TA was born ready to make unfamiliar voices heard through speech or song.

Improving Culture  99.8 TA is able to spice up the nature of Tunkhannock through the usage of getting local musical or poetical artists to be heard. Doing so will add lots of colors to our rural homeland.

The Problems  Our community does not have enough culture  The local radio stations do not offer the benefits to beginning bands, wanting to become known.  It definitely lacks the variety of music that most people look for.  Located in a small town with closed off culture.  Ways to address problem are to offer new, and unheard music TA will introduce large ranges of music genres and it’d be a start out point for new bands.

The Project’s Goals and Objectives  99.8 TA and the workers are dedicated to meeting the following goals and objectives.  Trying to reach out for singers/bands/poets to perform on the radio.  Make local bands/singers/bands into a “well-known” status.  Encourage positive growth in communities using music and poetry.  It will be a non-profit organization.  Eventually expand 99.8 TA so the organization can reach other areas such as regions or states.

Methods and Schedule  Our methods to ensuring that 99.8 TA is a success is by allowing feedback to show if our organization is doing great or needs improvement, seeing the success of our artists is another, and finally, the amount of fans and listeners that follow and stay tuned to 99.8 TA.  99.8 TA will be open during the weekdays from 10 AM to 8 PM.  99.8 TA will not be open during the holidays.  99.8 TA’s radio will play poetry/music from 10 AM to 8 PM.

Process and Criteria  To show the continuation of 99.8 TA, feedback, as well as a growing record of listeners will be needed. Here is the following criteria.  Feedback  Listeners  Success from the populace

Budget  In order for 99.8 TA to work, a budget is needed. This lists all the equipment and utilities which are required for 99.8 TA to become a success.  Building for headquarters: $55,000 dollars  Utility setup cost: $500 dollars  Radio tower, along with concrete and labor: $7,500 dollars  Equipment (microphones, music players, recording equipment): $9,000 dollars

 To conclude, 99.8 TA will indeed create colors for Tunkhannock. By allowing local citizens to showcase their talents, morality will improve and so will the brightness of populaces that need it. The mission of 99.8 TA is “To make unfamiliar voices heard through speech or song.”
