KPMG comments (Oct 2010)  Monthly reports about the reform process should be given to the Vice Chancellor by the secretariat  The risks in the to- be processes should be documented.  The University should adopt a risk management system.  With reduces staff from DICTS, the Consultants recommended that the new representative should concentrate to finalize and break down the specification of TOBE ICT service delivery processes where KPMG´s suggested structure as one initial value

KPMG comments Cont… (Oct 2010)  That the director of DICTS should facilitate and develop ICT TOBE governance processes together with the leadership of Makerere  URAFR subcommittees and DICTS representatives should take support from Faculty of Computing and IT to facilitate special hearings together with the other URAFR subcommittee to compile a document that explains possible new IT initiatives, based upon TOBE process descriptions.  URAFR should develop a “rolling three year” plan of prioritized IT initiatives in balance with other urgent IT activities that should be conducted by DICTS.
