Germany Foods-Salads and soups play a large part of the German. A Bavarian specialty is weisswurt (a meat) but a meat that we all know and most love is bratwurst. Black forest cake is also a well loved desert. Celebrations-Oktoberfest a celebration dating back to 1810 and was originally a celebration of the wedding of Princess Teresa and Prince Ludwig. Education-every state determines it’s own educational system each state does do elementary from 6 to 10 yrs of age. After Grundschule (elementary) students will go through U.S. version of high school and then will attend a school with various vocational classes to help prepare them for life after school. Area settled in Texas-Settled along the Guadalupe & Comal River’s in New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, & Boerne.

Czechoslavakia Food-not known for healthy eating, main dishes include chicken, pork, & beef, served with some kind of sauce. Potatoes are very common side dishes.
