About Me… Diana Ting

Education graduated from STUST majored in English master degree in the department of Applied English in STUST teacher education program

Work Experience a waitress an assistant of the cram school  a substitute teacher several times  make up class one by one

Work Experience remedial teaching course in Da-Guang elementary school. Christmas camp in 2013 A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Strength enjoy working with people being engaged in problem solving attention to details on schedule

Strength Patient – Guide them, not force them. – Stand in their shoes. Classroom management 1.Use a normal, natural voice If we want kids to talk at a normal, pleasant volume, we must do the same.

Strength Classroom management 1.Use a normal, natural voice If we want kids to talk at a normal, pleasant volume, we must do the same.

Strength Classroom management 2.Speak only when students are quiet and ready wait and then wait some more until all students were quiet Sshh…she’s trying to tell us something. Come on, stop talking! Hey guys, be quiet.

Strength Classroom management 3.Address behavior issues quickly and wisely Bad feelings, on your part or the students, can so quickly grow from molehills into mountains. Step away from other students, in the doorway. Don't accuse the child of anything. Act as if you do care.

Strength Classroom management 4.Always have a well-designed, engaging lesson If the lesson is poorly planned, there is often way too much talking and telling from the teacher and not enough hands-on learning and discovery by the students. Engaging lessons take both serious mind and time to plan, but they are certainly worth it.

Idea Goal and Viewpoint application of my strength Education is a two-way process. To teach is to learn.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity of the interview.
