Interactive Notebooks for Biology Quickly return to your groups from last week, as we have a lot to accomplish today! 27-Aug

Page 1: Cover Page This will go on the first page INSIDE your IntNB. This is homework for tonight: 1.4+ Colors 2.Neat 3.Biology-related theme: General Science Review, Chemistry, Ecology, Cell Biology, Mitosis, Protein Synthesis, Photosynthesis and Respiration 4.Name of Class and Period 5.Your Name and something about you

Pages 2 – 4: Organizing and Maintaining your IntNB Cut and paste these pages into pages 2 – 4 of your IntNB. What goes on the right side of your IntNB? What goes on the left side of your IntNB?

Pages 5 – 7: Processing Activities Cut and paste these into pages 5 – 7 of your IntNB. Skim through them to see which ones meet your learning strength.

Page 8: Scoring Rubric Cut and paste this into page 8 of your IntNB. Look at the level of work that is required to earn “Wow” credit. You will use this next class period to grade each other.

Page 9: Adult Input Page Cut and paste this into page 9 of your IntNB. This is one of the few chances you will have to earn extra credit during each unit.

Page 10 – 12: Tables of Contents Cut and paste pages 10 – 12 into your IntNB. Notice that the first assignment is demonstrated for you.

Page 13: Lab Groups Cut and paste into the inside front cover of your IntNB. You are currently in your color group, so get the names and addresses (or phone number) of each member of your lab group. The other groups will be assigned at later dates.

Page 14: Score Sheet Cut and paste this into the inside back cover of your IntNB. You will be given an opportunity at the end of every week to add up your IntNB points. This total will be one of your IntNB grades, which will be entered every two weeks.
