Biology Place backpacks on lab tables. Be seated in alphabetical order ( teacher will assign). ( 5 min) 2. Retest ( Test 1)- 20 min. 3. Finish working on Ecosystems Comparison Projects ( I have poster boards available) Part 2 ( summary paragraph over project)- homework if not completed in class!

Biology 1.Start working on Abiotic Vs. Biotic Factors Worksheet ( while you are working on this, I will hand back your retest scores) 2.Review over worksheet---turn in. 3.Review over Ecosystems Outline ( homework that has been turned in handed back, Powerpoint to check answer responses). 4.Put finishing touches on Ecosystem Comparison Projects ( turn in to teacher)

Wednesday Biology 1.Bell Work # 7 - ( on your desk )- 5 Scientific Method Questions ( 10 min -2 min per question) 2.Lab Equipment Handout/Lab 2 Review 3.Lab 2: Splatter Pattern vs. Drop Height 4.Clean up Lab Area/ Finish Conclusion for homework if not finished in class.

Examples and Notes for Lab- Formulate Your Own!!! Problem: Does the height in which water is dropped effect the size and shape of the splatter pattern? Hypothesis: If I drop water from a very high height, then the splatter pattern will be larger than if it were dropped close to the ground. mm (10 millimeters – 1 cm) Diameter- distance across Average- take the total sum then divide by how many factors you’ve added.
