What is Protected by Copyright  Literary works  Musical works  Dramatic works  Pantomimes and choreographic works  Pictoral, graphic, and sculptural works  Motion pictures  Sound recording  Architectual works

Literary Works 1. Literary Works consist of:  Novels  Books  Plays  Computer software

Pantomimes and Choreography Pantomime- Is a Christmas play based on a fairy tale Choreography-Is a composition of staged dance (an organized dance) –C–Cheerleading –T–Tap dance –P–Pagentry –B–Ballet

Architectual Works Designing of buildings – Blueprint or plan of a building structure – The style of a building

What isn’t Protected Ideas, procedures, principles, concepts Titles, names, short phrases, and slogans Works that are not written down or recorded Works that are easily available, such as: – Calenders – Measures – Lists and tables Work by the government
