Slope is a measure of Steepness.

Slope is sometimes referred to as the “Rate of Change”.

Slope is represented by the letter “m” Why? I have no idea so I just think m for mountains and mountains have slope.

Slope may sometimes be written as m =∆y. ∆x What is ∆ ? The Greek letter Delta which means “the change in”

If given the graph of a line, find the slope by using the “triangle” method to find the change in y OVER the change in x
