WATCH D.O.G.S. ® is a safe school initiative of the N ATIONAL C ENTER FOR F ATHERING (Fathers.com) founded by Jim Moore, a concerned father who chose to take action in response to a 1998 middle- school shooting in Jonesboro, AR. Partnered with National PTA, State PTA, local PTA, and YOUR Phillips PTA recognized by DoE and U.S. Congress for the effectiveness of the program More than 4,704 active programs in 46 states

Goal: Engage men, inspire children, reduce bullying and enhance the educational environment at your school. Goal: provide positive male role models for the students and to serve as an unobtrusive security presence

YOU! Fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and other male adults who volunteer at their child’s school for one (or more) days each year to assist in a variety of school activities Not limited to full day activities! Carpool Boosterthon Lunchtime mentoring Walk to school day Community events
