Welcome to my presentation on problems foreigners can experience living in abroad. In this presentation, I’m going to give you a brief overview of 3 main problems I’ve had living in a foreign country. The first issue I had was language; it was very difficult to communicate with Vietnamese people. So what was the solution? The solution was to study Vietnamese. _______________a_____________. Vietnamese is a language very unlike Roman languages I experienced problems not only because of pronunciation but also because of grammar. _________________b_______________ CULTURE. Vietnamese culture is very different to Western culture. So what did I do? I decided to take a course on Vietnamese culture. ________c_______, some of the cultural issues I had were, how to queue, how to talk to people older than me, and how to follow rules when eating. ______d_______ FOOD. Food is one area which I still have problems with. To answer the question of food, _______e_________. I believe food and culture, go hand in hand. Food mirrors the culture of a country. Food was a massive problem for me at first, but what exactly was the problem? The problem was I found it difficult to get used to the type of food. _______f_________ the people in England. England has one of the highest obesity rates in the whole world.
