 Conduct public hearing to consider 2011/12 State COPS expenditure plans for District Attorney and Sheriff 22011/12 State Citizens' Options for Public Safety (COPS) Program - Public Hearing Purpose

 Program provides State funding for criminal prosecution, jail construction and operation, and front-line law enforcement  Funding source: State Vehicle License Fee  COPS expenditure plans included in County budget and considered in budget process, but Government Code requires separate public hearing be conducted 32011/12 State Citizens' Options for Public Safety (COPS) Program - Public Hearing Background
