Facility: Any equipment, structure, system, process, or activity that fulfills a specific purpose Site: The area over which DOE has access control authority that is usually a geographically continuous entity comprising land, buildings, and one or more facilities Facility and Site Definitions

Emergency Facilities and Equipment Includes Emergency Operations Center (Primary and Alternate) Joint Information Center (Primary and Alternate) Site facilities may include o Fire Department o Medical o Security o Other facilities that house equipment or personnel that are considered responders Any equipment responders may use in an emergency
