SURFACE WATERCOURSE The rare relict species of fish Umbra krameri (minders) is discovered in Gromizelj. This fish is only found in a few areas in Europe. Gromiželj is also habitat for many plant and animal species from the red list of endangered species, some of which date from the time of the Pannonian Sea. Bijeljina City is surrounded by river Sava (31 km) and Drina (63 km). These two rivers are rich in sand and gravel.
