Time Management Tips for High School Students Does it seem like there’s never enough time in the day to get everything done? Feel like you’re always running late? Here are some tips for taking control of your time and organizing your life?

Tips Make a “To Do” list every day. Use spare minutes wisely. It’s okay to say no. Find the right time. Review your notes every day. Get a good night sleep. Communicate your schedule to others.

Tips (Con’t) Become a taskmaster. Don’t waste time agonizing. Keep things in perspective.

Time Management Tips Spend time on important things before they become urgent. Don’t be ruled by urgency. Never avoid important activities because of merely urgent tasks. Do important things early. Waiting until they’re urgent will only increase your stress level. Number your tasks in order of their importance. Complete them in that order.

Address you Stress Stress affects your energy level. Know the signs. Take care of yourself.

Overcoming Procrastination Ask: Why am I procrastinating? How will it hurt me if I procrastinate if I procrastinate? Break into small tasks and set a deadline for each task. Reward yourself for small victories!

80/20 Rule 80% of unfocussed effort generates only 20% of results. The remaining 80% of results are achieved with only 20% of the effort
