GAAMBK Vision The vision for the Greater Austin Area My Brother’s Keeper Initiative is to become a national model for boosting academic achievement, enhancing health and well-being and elevating the lifetime prosperity for young men of color.

GAAMBK Mission The mission for the Greater Austin Area My Brother’s Keeper Initiative is ________________________________. What are GAAMBK’s core values? Why do we exist? What is our educational philosophy?

GAAMBK Mission The mission for the Greater Austin Area My Brother’s Keeper Initiative is to assist males of color to stay on track by developing their physical, cognitive, social and emotional abilities for life success.

GAAMBK SWOT What are the strengths of this organization? Passion, expertise, commitment, data focus What are the weaknesses of GAAMBK? Volunteer army, lack of a sustainability formula, funding, strategic partners, competing priorities What are threats to the GAAMBK initiative? GAAMBK Groups Early Education and Third Grade Reading Levels Patrick Patterson (UT Austin)-Chair Albert Black (Child Inc.)-Co-Chair Group Goals Provide newborn males of color in the greater Austin area with age appropriate books (ages zero to five) to begin a private library.
