Texas SAT Results Texas results represent the country’s the largest year-over-year increase in test takers Texas led the nation with largest increase in number of public school students who took SAT 43% of all Texas Takers reported that they will be the first in their families to go to college

The Nation’s Results SAT report shows there are no tricks and there are no shortcuts to college readiness Students who take more rigorous courses in high school are more prepared to succeed in college and beyond. The USA was once a world leader in the proportion of adults with college credentials, now ranks 12 th among industrialized countries. US News September 14, 2010
