REMINDERS  Common Application officially due December 8, Remember we all need to submit to at least four campuses, however you may do more than four and receive waivers.  Common Application linking to Naviance is still pending for many seniors, please complete task by the end of the period today.  It is each student’s responsibility to ensure that their recommender submit letters of recommendation on time.  Please also provide them either with a thank you card or thank you .  Recommendations take a very long time to complete and your recommenders are doing this during their personal time.

REMINDERS  Remember to send your test scores to CSU Mentor (SAT-3594), UCs (one only – if applicable), and to non-test optional/flexible schools.  Your campuses require that they have official copies. Some private schools will allow us to send on your transcript. Please see Dr. Landeros for more inquiries about this section.  Registration for ELM and EPT is due December 5,  See Dr. Landeros if you have any questions or concerns, especially about the fee.  Many CSU campuses will begin requesting transcripts from you. Note that Dr. Landeros will mail these to the campuses for your high school grades ONLY. Please follow up with the campuses to ensure they receive these by their deadline. If you took LACC classes, it is your responsibility to request these transcripts directly from LACC.

CAMPUS PORTALS  You are to activate each account and begin checking these every day. Campuses will begin to ONLY communicate with you via their portals or via the that they may assign to you from the school.  When you log in, you are looking for the Student Center, under this section, you will see your holds and to- do list.  Write down the following as you receive these s:  Student ID Number  Username for portal/account  Password for portal account  Security Question(s) and answer(s)

EXPECTATIONS FROM YOU In your Senior Seminar folder, you should have the following by December 8:  Printed confirmations of CSU Applications Submissions  Printed copy of your final version of EOP Statements.  Printed copy of your EOP Submission confirmations.  Printed copy of UC Application confirmation (if applicable).  Printed copy of Common App submission to four schools.  Printed copy of your test score submissions.  Printed copy of ELM and/or EPT registration (and exemption slip as applicable – green paper)  Printed copy of applying to four scholarships.
