Seminar Etiquette Be respectful of your classmates and instructors.  Avoid using language or phrases that are disrespectful and can offend anyone.  Treat the seminar discussions as if you are in a professional environment. Do not type in all CAPS  Shouting Practice good grammar, punctuation and composition. Use spell check to decrease the amount of errors in your posts.

Tips for Succeeding in SC300  Break-up the Chapter Readings each day by section.  Spend time each day completing the Mini-project or Seminar Option 2. › Cover Page & APA Reference Page › Organized into indented, double-spaced paragraphs  (Introduction, Topic Paragraphs, Conclusion) › Spell and Grammar Check  Participate in Discussion Frequently (3-4 x/week, 2+ posts per thread)  Submit Assignments on Time! (by Tuesday night at 11:59 pm ET)  If stuck or have questions, do not hesitate to contact your instructor, especially about grading.

Step 3: Construct Hypothesis Based on your background research, what is your guess as to why your computer is not working?

Step 4: Test With an Experiment What are some steps you would take to confirm that your hypothesis is correct?

Step 5: Analyze Results, Draw Conclusion If your hypothesis is correct based on your results from experimentation, then your conclusion is….

Grading Criteria: 35 Points  Ask more than two questions to the store manager.  Respond to your classmate’s ideas frequently during the week.  Once you have obtained enough clues, develop your hypothesis and explain why and how you came up with it.
