Question 3: Design Development You will have to chose one of your designs and show how it can be developed further.

Marks will be awarded for Materials and finishes There is a maximum of 3 marks for this question. Award up to two marks for materials, award up to two marks for finishes, however, the total may not exceed three marks. Award marks for details relating to: Suitable specific material(s ) (Name at least 2 eg aluminium, oak, acrylic) Details of the properties of that material (reason for choosing that material eg easy to cut, cheap, strong) A suitable finish (varnish, already polished (acrylic)) Details of the properties of that finish (protect surface from scratches)
