We appreciate any input you have regarding our classes and facility so please take a moment and fill out a comment card located at the front desk and put it in our Comment Card mailbox located by the entrance. Thank you for all of your support! Preschool Open Gym ( ages 6 & under) Make Fridays, 11:00 to noon, your gymnastics play day! During preschool open gyms, parents and guardians enjoy the Rising Stars experience with their children, as they explore and learn with coach assistance. The cost of the open gym is $8.00/per child. Parent supervision is required. You do not need to be a current student at Rising Stars to attend. Don’t forget your punch cards!! Pay for 7 POG’s and your 8 th is free!! One punch card per child. If your child is not feeling well or did not go to school due to an illness; do not send them to class at Rising Stars. We understand that kids get sick; however we can prevent the spread of the germs if we keep our kids home when they are ill. Thank you for helping keep RS a clean place for students, their families and staff. Spring 1 Session Sign Up : Our Spring Session will run from February 29 th until April 23 rd. The following will be the registration time line: Feb 1 st Progress testing- Spring 1 Session Priority Registration for current students staying same day/time/level. February 8 th Progress check forms sent home- Spring 1 Session Priority Registration for current students moving up or switching day/times. February 15 th Open Registration begins. Winter 2016 Holidays Rising Stars will be open for the holidays that fall in the Winter 2016 Session: Monday, January 18 th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, February 15th, President’s Day Weather Policy: If the gym is closed due to bad weather this information will be on our voice mail system as well as on our website. We will always try to make this decision by early afternoon and will follow the lead of what other places are doing in the area as far as closings. Due to a snow day being “an act of Mother Nature”, these days are not an additional make-up day but can be made up as your one make-up per session.

Safety Reminders:  Students should arrive no earlier than ten to fifteen minutes prior to their class start time and must be picked up after class ON TIME.  If you are going to be more than ten minutes late for your child’s class, please stop by the front desk or call to reschedule. It is disruptive to have a child come into class late and they miss out on the proper warm up.  Parents are NOT allowed in the gym at any time. Please stop by the front desk for assistance.  Siblings MUST BE supervised at all times – please do not let siblings run throughout the building or knock on the viewing windows. For safety reasons, please have your children with you at all times while in the building.  Drive very carefully in the parking lot – Watch for children – SLOW DOWN! Rising Stars Referral Program: When you refer a new student to Rising Stars and they sign up for a session of gymnastics, you receive a $10.00 credit on your account to be used toward future tuition. (This can only be used toward tuition and not as a refund or toward any Pro Shop items). To receive this credit, make sure your friend mentions your name on their registration form when they enroll. Make-up Policy: (please read carefully) During the school year there is only one make-up class per session allowed (if your child attends twice a week you have one make-up for each class). This make-up must be done within the session. Please note: Once a make-up class has been scheduled it cannot be rescheduled and we cannot guarantee more than one option for a make-up class time. There are no refunds or additional make-ups for snow days, acts of nature, or illnesses. However, these absences can be made up using your one make-up per session. To schedule a make-up, please call the office or stop by the front desk.
