Our specially written driver allows using DSS V8 as storage managed directly by OpenStack.  VSS Hardware Provider  Shadow Copy (also known as Volume Shadow Copy Service) is a technology included in Microsoft Windows that allows taking manual or automatic backup copies or snapshots of data. Support for this functionality allows Windows systems to perform shadow copy on storage powered by DSS V8.  Other  Monitoring of iSCSI volumes regarding bandwidth or IOPS.
