14 th April ‘091 K.E.Board’s 1989 Batch Alumini Draft plan cum proposal for Alumini activities for KEBoards 89 th Batch

14 th April ‘092 Lets Celebrate We are 50+ and growing strong We are a ‘family’ who need ‘no’ Intro OR Reason –To reach out to each other –To wish on each others B’day –Feel no bounding to answer back mails. We know to enjoy them simply. And… –Evolved and cherished from the same roots –We have memories which connect them to our most simple self ie ‘childhood’ –We do check everyday!! –We had one too many get-togethers We realize our ‘collective’ strength to make ‘difference’

14 th April ‘093 ‘Different’ story.. NOW JUST THINK WHAT DIFFERENCE, ‘YOU’ together with ‘WE’ CAN MAKE… One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?” The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.” “Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make a difference!” After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said… “I made a difference for that one.”

14 th April ‘094 What we can DO Give back to society Regard for our Teachers – Who made us what we are today Give back something ‘tangible’ to school Misc…(anything more you think off?) –Pls note all the above are in the order of priority –Details on how we can do the same in next slide

14 th April ‘095 Give ‘buck’ to Society Financial aid to deserving students Establish scholarships to promote and encourage high standards of academic achievements Career guidance Guest Lectures Felicitate our teachers Do good to our school, however ‘little’ it can be …..List Goes on…As Funds flow-in!

14 th April ‘096 ‘Buck’-up ‘Buck’-up We are talking money here We are talking/taking donations Your kind gesture goes a long way Want to see how? It is from Pennies to Sky rocketing $ I hope ‘our’ Pennies will make that special ‘Someone’ To make big $$$ I HOPE WE ARE ALL GAME FOR IT WE WILL NOW SEE HOW WE CAN ‘PLAY’ IT!

14 th April ‘097 Let’s Play (No power play, just play!!!) Form an Association with all members of 1989 KEBoards batch Association to manage the funds and activities to realize ‘our’ common objectives Initial outlook is to have at-least Rs 10,000 available on yearly basis to fund ‘our’ goals So, idea is to collect at-least a LAKH Rupees as initial capital Everyone requested to pay minimum Rs 2000 each (We all know charity begins at ‘OM’) Bank A/c to be opened in Association’s name –Need to see the possibility of net access with password shared with all members to view the financial data (only viewing!)

14 th April ‘098Contd… Hold Elections to Association office bearers Office bearers position include –President –Vice President –Secretary –Treasurer/Account officer –Working member 1 –Working member 2 Elections will be held to elect members to these positions Elections will be once a year MORE DETAILS TO BE WORKED OUT AS WE PROCEED…

14 th April ‘099 Future Plans – A sneak Preview Bring members more closer through regular get together, group events etc Bring in more Activeness n liveliness in members with group’s plans in both DWD and BLR Build official connection with school and its administration Update info in online databases with b’day’s, events, blood groups, contact info etc which can be useful in group context Grow Association –Attract more members –Grow funds to enable more engagement in noble objectives Improve networking to help each other in a ways more than we currently know Next Get together at DWR in Dec ‘09

14 th April ‘0910 Q&A Register ourselves in Association –Why? –This is most viable option thought so far to execute ‘our’ common objectives –Legally recommended and followed framework in such scenarios –What For? –Provides ‘legal’ provision to carry out financial transactions –Provides ‘One’ non-benefit, non-owner umbrella where everyone can represent themselves OR ensure being represented Whom Can I contact to know more information? Satish G, Vijay (CoolVeejy), Raksha, Praveen Ganagi Vishu Naik and Sanjay Kulkarni

14 th April ‘0911 Q&A Can we debate over the mails through yahoo? –Talk to the above folks personally and please avoid debates in group I am very excited about this idea. Would like to register right now and pay the amount. Whom should I Pay? –? …..We encourage more questions..Pls go on…
