 Apollo eight was the second manned space mission. The crew were Frank Borman,James Lovell and William Anders. They left low earths orbit and were the first people to see earth as a whole.  This is the crew (left to right: Lovell,Anders, Borman.)

 Apollo nine was a mission to check out the surface of the moon and test the lunar rover and other parts of the engines of the rocket that would in a year land on the moon.

 Apollo 10 was the mission to send Alan Shepherd in space this would be the first time man has left the safety of our home atmosphere.he took one of the very first colour cameras in to space to take pictures of distant wonders of the universe.

 Apollo 11 is one of the most remembered space missions in space history this was the mission that sent Neil Armstrong and Buzz Oldrin to the moon. As they stepped out they said the famous words: "this is one small step for man and a giant leap for mankind.”

 Apollo 12 was the second mission to the moon they were going to the moon to get a more precise landing the space craft was called the Yankee Clipper!

 Apollo 13 is considered a very unlucky mission and not because of its number because of the problems they had, including fuel and engine problems they were extremely lucky to get back to earth.
