FEBRUARY NHS AGENDA :)

ANIMAL OUTREACH On February 21 st from 2-4 at Thundering Paws Animal Sanctuary, we are going to be helping out with the cats (including but not limited to: Rusty, Speck, Oreo and Tom Tom) We only need 2-3 volunteers for each and you will be helping out at dog shows. We will also help on February 27th, 28th and march 5th and 6th. One in February is in Georgetown. The one in march is at k-9 central in Austin.

COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION On Feb 9th at 8:00am in the NHS Storage Room (C204), we will be collecting terracycling. On Feb 16th at 8:00am in the NHS Storage Room (C204), sorting and sending terracycling.

COMMUNITY SERVICE We will be at the Crisis Ministries (107 RR 620 South) every Wednesday after school to bag groceries and help clients carry groceries. On Feb 21 st, we will help Mobile Loaves and Fishes at Lake Hills Church with packing and delivering food and clothes to specified locations. (times are yet to be determined)

EXTRACURRICULAR APPRECIATION On Feb. 4 th at 8:15 in Ms. Gidley's Room (H213), drop off treats for swim team as we wish them luck for their regional meet. On Feb. 5 th at the Westlake Soccer Field, we will cheer on the boys’ soccer teams against Westlake: JV White (4:30)/JV Black (5:45)/Varsity (7:30). FACULTY APPRECIATION On February 18 th, we will host the teacher breakfast at the annex lounge and, on February 16 th, we will decorate candy box for the "love lunch."

INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH On Feb. 21st from 1:30-2 and 4-5, we will help at Camp Texlake to set up and tear down for Girl Scouts International Day.

KIDS On Feb. 9th, 16th, 23rd from 4:00-5:00 at Hudson Bend Middle School, we will help tutor middle schoolers. On April 8th 5:30-11:30 at the Sonesta Hotel, we will work the check in and check out table for the Lake Pointe Elementary School silent auction gala.

SENIOR CITIZEN We will volunteer weekly on Saturdays from 2-4 pm at Park Manor Bee Cave and do arts and crafts!!!

SOCIAL OUTREACH On February 12 th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Austin Ridge Bible Church Bee Cave Campus, they need 30 girls and 60 boys to sign up for training + Special needs prom and some people to organize donated dresses.

TUTORING We will be tutoring all month at LTMS, LTHS, and Lake Travis Community Library. Sign up on the printed spreadsheet, we will also be at the community library for a study session (day TBD).

WELLNESS OUTREACH On Feb. 14th 6:30-10:30 around Congress Ave, north and south of Capitol, we will be helping out at the Austin Marathon by helping clean up signs and trash.
