Then we mixed paint colours to make new colours

We practised making koru with chalk on newsprint

Then we did pencil and crayon drawings of our family tree

Then we did a draft copy with paint

We needed to make a background for our paintings so we did thick crayon lines

And dyed them too

We wrote stories to explain who was in our family tree paintings

Then we typed it on the laptop and printed them off
