How do animals adapt to survive? We chose this because we love animals and we want to learn more about them. I think that their adaptations are fun to learn about.

Because the desert is so hot, the effect is that some animals are nocturnal, because It is cool in the night.

Because the road runner can run 15 miles per hour. The effect is it can catch the fastest lizard, so it has a good Meal.

Because the desert is dry and it is hard to get water. the effect is animals like ground squirrels get their water from the food they eat. That is how they keep hydrated.

Because the centipedes Head looks like its butt The effect is the attacker does Not Know which side is its butt So it could get bitten.

How do animals adapt to survive? Many animals camouflage, mimic, some plants store up water. All plants have different ways!
