ICEL Philippians 4:5-7 New International Version 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

ICEL If it is impossible to both be joyful and anxious, what can we do to guard our hearts from worry?

ICEL If you would attack worry God’s way: 1) KEEP PRACTISING THE ACTUAL PRESENCE OF JESUS! (v5)

ICEL Don’t panic – Jesus is always nearer than you think.

ICEL Be gentle – pushing and peace never mix well

ICEL If you would attack worry God’s way : 1) KEEP PRACTISING THE ACTUAL PRESENCE OF JESUS! 2) KEEP PURSUING THE SPECIAL PEACE OF JESUS! (v6-7)
