Compare and Contrast

Woodwind All instruments in the family have a 1 or 2 reeds They are made of wood or metal Have to cover the holes to make different sounds

Brass They are made of brass or fiberglass To play you need to press valves or move a slide (trombone is only 1 with slide)

Both To play the instrument you need to blow air from your mouth They make a sound
