Thank you to those of you who donated money to support the Pride of Pooler Silent Auction! Please join us Friday, October 30 th, for our Book Character Parade. Your child will be able to dress like a character from one of their favorite books. Please make sure that you send the book with them to school! The parade will begin promptly at 2pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early so that you will have time to find a spot in any of our hallways! Please check out the Bright from the Start Georgia Pre-K website: On the website you will we able to navigate to the GELDS Pre-K standards and to check out what your child is expected to be able to know and do at the end of the school year! Remember to check your child’s folder every night and take out papers as they come home! Importan t Dates : 10/12 NO SCHOOL At Home Connections: Read Every Night!!!!!!!! We are learning about fire safety this week! Week of 10/5-10/9

This week we will be learning about the season fall, pumpkins, and leaves! If you are planning on attending the character book parade, please make sure you are here at least 10 minutes early so that you will be able to find a seat in one of our hallways! Remember to send the book that has the character your child will be dressing as! Read to your child each night, ask questions to check for comprehension (what do you think might happen next?, who?, where?)! 10/29 Field Trip to Madrac Farms 10/30 Book Parade (2pm)
