e-Transport Information Center Since 2003, the ministry of transportation and communication (MOTC) has begun planning and established the “Traffic and Transportation Service Center’’ Currently the center is offering two types of service: -Traffic information: ex. road congestion & real-time traffic information -Public information ex. wheather & schedules for land, sea, and air transport The system has gradually linked real-time data provided by the urban traffic information center and integrated with the highway alternative route information system, thereby making the information more comprehensive Up to 2013, this service has combined 154 applications for connecting the information database and provided value-added services to numerous industries, such as transportation, navigation, logistics, communications, government, and academia, etc. 11
