GEOLOGIC FEATURE SPECIFIC TO GERMANY These are the Herz Mountains in Herz Germany they are well known in Germany and often visited by tourists.

A GEOLOGIC EVENT THAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED FIRST HAND In 2002 there was a widely spread forest fire in Big Bear California smoke and ashes could be seen from miles away.

HOW GEOLOGIC EVENTS INFLUENCE DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE WORLD If there is a drastic climate change in northern Asia, extreme events such as flood, drought, forest fires, and tropical cyclones may increase in the warmest parts of the country.

Geological Feature From Italy Mt. Vesuvius is a volcanic mountain located in the southern region of Italy, near Naples. This volcano is mainly known for it’s eruption over the City of Pompeii. Freezing what almost seemed like time because the people of the city were covered in volcanic ash, making them human statues.

Something That I Have Experienced In 2003, there was a minor earthquake that occurred in southern California while I was there visiting family. I was sleeping while it was occurring. Not much damage was done, but it was the weirdest feeling in the world to feel the ground shaking under me.

A Geological Event That Effects Society With the fires rapidly spreading throughout Greece, they may eventually cause more pollution, poverty, and deaths. The fires have already spread through to Athens and are out of control. This influences society because it will keep displacing people from their homes and belongings. Society it effected because the fires could, if not stopped, take over most of Greece leaving disaster everywhere.
