Education  Are you ready to get hands-on experience with suturing techniques?  Get ready for the Suture clinic! February 4 th  $15 for online/in-person payment, or $20 at the door.

Charity  Bake Sales are every other Tuesday from 8-11in front of the library. See you tomorrow!  Charity 5K

Community Outreach Weekly Events Hope Lodge : At this event, we work with cancer patients currently undergoing treatment at Moffitt as well as their families. We usually play bingo and hang out with the residents in an effort to take their minds off what they are going through. Time: every Tuesday from 7- 8pm. Achintya Patel Shriners Hospital for Children : Only four people are allowed to come with me each week. During the hour time frame PAMSA members will partake in arts and crafts activities with the patients, while earning community service hours. Time: Every Wedensday from 1-2pm Miriah Grace John Knox Retirement Community : Conducting different activities for the senior residents, such as watching movies and other events. Time: Every Wednesday from 2-4 PM. Alejandra Mallorga

Community Outreach Weekly Events Tutoring at Pizzo Elementary : An opportunity to work with kids by reading with them and mentoring them. *Background check required for this event Time: Every Tuesday from 2:30-3:30 PM Epilepsy Services Foundation : On average, once a week we will attend a variety of different opportunities that will enhance our knowledge and awareness regarding Epilepsy. Several times we will attend meetings to get an insight on how Non-Profit organizations operate, while other times we will interact one-on-one with individuals dealing with Epilepsy. Community Outreach Monthly Events  This Month Ronald McDonald House Date: Saturday, November 21 Time: 10:30am-12:30pm To volunteer and to figure out rides,  Biweekly Bake Sales! Date: Every other Wednesday Time: 8:30am-11:30am in front of the library. This is an event you can volunteer at! Contact any Community Outreach director to sign up.

Stampede of Service  Sign up here!  When asked if you are affiliate with an organization type in "Pre-Medical American Medical Student Association" No acronyms are allowed.  You can sign up until January. The actual event occurs on January 16, Mark your calendar!  Break-Down of Times: 8:00am: Participants arrive to Check-In at Corbett Soccer Stadium. (We will all meet up when we get there) 8:30am: KickOff at Corbett Soccer Stadium 9:00am-12pm: service at various community areas 12:30-3pm: After party at the Greek Village Fields!

Physician Shadowing If you missed either of the workshops, there will be another opportunity for you to participate in the physician shadowing program next semester. Dates and times will be made available at a later date. Please follow USF Pre-Med AMSA on facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep up to date with our events. When ing our Directors, please keep in mind that we do our best to respond in a timely manner. General Announcements  Relay for Life April 16th, 2016 at 3:00PM. To Join our team, search USF Pre-Med AMSA and join!  Pre-Med AMSA will be hosting the Suture and Vitals Clinic along with Clinical Case Study event.  We will also be hosting an International Student Workshop for international students who are interested in going to medical school.  We will be hosting a Kaplan Workshop next semester.
