Homework ● Set on Thursdays ● Due in on Tuesdays, this will be the day that we have a spelling test ● Mix of Maths, Topic, Literacy and Spellings

Reading books If anyone would like to come into school to listen to children read please let me know. Books are changed on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

KS1 SATs Year 2 Sats Taken in the summer term. New Curriculum. SPaG, Reading and Maths 2 maths papers : 1 in arithmetic (25 questions) and 1 in reasoning (31 questions) -reading and mental maths.

SATS As you are aware, year 2 children will be sitting Standard Assessment Tests in May 2015 and with this in mind I will plan in opportunities for all children to do some practice tests. This will (hopefully) familiarize the children with the format and expectations of the tests.
