HOW A BILL BECOMES A LAW

A bill becomes a law by first be introduced in the Senate or the House of representatives Only the House of representatives can introduce a bill about money When the bill is introduced in the Senate, 2/3 of senate have to approve it, or the bill is dead. If they do agree, it is passed onto the House When it is given to the House, they have to discuss and vote on the bill. If they disagree with it, it get s sent back to the Senate for changing. If they do not want to make changes, the bill dies. If the House improves the bill, it is sent to the president for his approval HOW A BILL BECOMES A LAW

If I were to choose, I would not be a member of this branch of this government. I would not because I would not want to make laws. I don’t like to disappoint anyone, so I would have to compromise everything. That would take an even longer time. Also, I think this branch is very complicated. To many steps for 1 thing. No, I would not be a part of this branch. Also I would not want all the people who aren’t happy to all hate me WOULD I EVER WANT TO BE A PART OF THIS BRANCH?

If I could make this branch change any law, it would be to have the minimum age of people for a job be 13. But just not more than once a week. We as thirteen year olds are responsible! And giving us a job once a week will get us ready for the real world. For some of us, it would be beneficial to earn some extra money. To go shopping more, to pay for your own stuff, etc. WHAT LAW WOULD I CHANGE IF I COULD CHANGE ONE?

In my opinion, This branch impacts my life by protecting me. If we didn’t have laws, we would be unprotected by the crazy chaotic freaks. It says what not to do, so people can’t murder us for example. If that wasn’t a law, people could be running the streets and killing random people. HOW THIS BRANCH AFFECTS MY LIFE
