Introduction  How did people from the past effect our lives today?  We chose this topic because we wanted to study about Rosa Parks and Helen Keller because of the amazing things they did

Helen Keller  Because Helen Keller got scarlet fever when she was nearly 2, she became deaf and blind and the fever did permanent damage to her brain – Sadie

Helen Keller  Because her parents sent a letter about teaching Helen how to communicate to Annie Sullivan, who is a teacher from the Perkins Institution, Helen got a teacher to help her communicate – Sadie
