FY Highlights Military Family Services: Improved channels for family feedback with launch of Military Family Panel Executed fifth annual Strengthening Resilience conference Spousal Military Employment Transition Project Support Services for Medically-Releasing Veterans and Families Published ‘You’re Not Alone’ - a mental health resource for military members and families Developed Family Guide to the Military Experience National physician referral service through partnership (Calian) and Op Family Doc

Director Casualty Support Management 9768 clients served as of 04 Aug 2015 Return to Duty Program: total accumulated Return to Duty is 1474 personnel. To date, 334 personnel have been returned to full time duty, and 828 personnel have been assisted in their transition. National Return to Duty averages: approximately 22% (FY ) Soldier On: supported 343 Ill and Injured last year and disbursed $782,000 to individuals to allow them to incorporate sports into their lives again – Canada Army Run: 25,000 Participants (sold out), raised $400,000 for Soldier On and Military Family Fund, over 60 Ill and Injured participated in 5k and half marathon Canada Company Military Employment Transition (MET) program 10,000 job coalition: 3,373 members are registered. 649 hires in 2014 Prospect: (January 2015): 296 individuals have been referred to date. 290 individuals have been accepted into service (97%); 107 companies have hired at least one participant; 21 companies have hired more than one participant FY Highlights

8 Real Property Activities: 66 Lisgar St purchased in Oct 2014 for $1.5M – Adjacent to NCR Navy Officers’ Mess – Building fully leased to Cadet Leagues; revenues offsetting ownership costs Potentially acquiring 78 Lisgar St; home to the NCR Navy Officers’ Mess – Currently owned by HMCS Officers Mess Bytown Inc Michael Street purchased August 2015 – Free-standing, 21,800 sq ft office space, two-storey building across from the QCC

Human Resources Deployed Corporate Leadership Program (Harvard Manage Mentor and Actional Books) Launched Manager/Supervisor Corporate Orientation Revised Talent Acquisition Policy and Program Improved Health and Dental plans (Launching November 2015) – Increased paramedical coverage maximum from $400 to $500 per calendar year – Eliminated the $40 per visit limit and increased the coverage for psychologists from $400 to $1000 per calendar year – Coverage for eye exams (within current benefit levels) – Increased orthodontic coverage from $2000 to $2500 lifetime FY Highlights

Respectful Workplace CDS intent – Op HONOUR: Op HONOUR is focused at Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Restore CAF to its highest ethical integrity and ensure a safe, harassment-free work environment Eliminate harmful and inappropriate sexual behaviour within entire CAF community CFMWS Will support and facilitate this mission Must do its part in providing healthy environments for staff, CAF members and their families

All CFMWS Staff encouraged to bring concerns forward without fear Leadership will take immediate and decisive action Staff of Non-Public Funds, Canadian Forces Where practical, attend local B/W/U mission related town halls Participate in Op HONOUR related surveys and research DMFS Ensure MFRCs are aware of the CDS’s intent and services of Sexual Misconduct Resource Centre (SMRC) Encourage MFRC leadership to support within their internal operations and in delivery of services to CAF community JPSU CO JPSU is to issue an Op order for all CAF members of the JPSU Respectful Workplace
