Travel Counsellor Online Certificate Program When enrolling for the full program of 10 modules, the total fees are $3,700 This includes taxes and textbooks. The first payment is $312, followed by 11 monthly payments of $308 each. Fees are deducted from your credit card by our Registrar. Post-dated cheques are also acceptable. Travel Counsellor Online Certificate Program Each module is an online website that is accessed with a unique URL address and password - they have instructions to help you work through the material Self-teach exercises are regularly given to help you test your own understanding of the topics They have an answer page for you to check your responses These are not submitted to your Instructor Copyright Algonquin Travel School 6

Travel Counsellor Online Certificate Program After you have studied each module’s materials and feel confident you have a good understanding, you may take an online test Each test is normally comprised of 40 true/false, multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, or completion type questions One essay question is also included in most modules which requires manual marking by your Instructor your Instructor and request the password You will be expected to take the test within 48 hours of receiving the password You will be allowed two hours for each test, and they are controlled by a countdown clock that appears on your screen Your Instructor will normally advise you of your mark within 48 hours The URL address and password for the next module will then be sent to you Copyright Algonquin Travel School 7

Travel Counsellor Certificate Program On a regular basis, you will receive a Program Marks Report (an Excel file) showing your module’s test and examination marks as you progress through the program This will be as an attachment to an from your Instructor Note that this is not an Official Transcript – but just a progressive personal report to you on your cumulative marks and where you are in the program Dates are shown as a guide for completion of each test and examination, based upon the planned one year schedule for the program, from when you registered. Travel Counsellor Certificate Program The minimum pass mark for each test and examination is 70% Should that minimum mark not be achieved, you may request a retest by to your Instructor. Upon achieving a passing grade for the retest, please note that a mark of only 70% will be awarded, although the actual retest mark may be higher. Progression to a further module may not be allowed until a previous test or examination achieves a passing grade. Copyright Algonquin Travel School 9

Travel Counsellor Certificate Program Copyright Algonquin Travel School 10 During the program, you will be required to take three Mid-Term Examinations covering Modules 1 through 10 There are 100 true/false, multiple choice, and matching questions (no essay questions) After you have completed the last Mid-Term Examination #3, there is a Final Comprehensive Examination – three hours are allowed for each of the four examinations This is 100 varied questions (True/False, Multiple Choice and Matching (no essay) taken from each of the 10 modules you have studied As soon as this is submitted, your Instructor will advise you of your mark The Registrar will then make arrangements for the preparation of your final transcript for the program, and your Certificate
