Block Schedule  Students will take four classes each semester.  Each class is 90 minutes  Each semester lasts 90 days

Rocket Power/Mentor Groups  Every Monday for 30 minutes in between 1 st and 2 nd period.  Stay with same teacher for 4 years.  Student News, report cards, etc.  Registration information

Things to Know from a current 9 th grader’s perspective:  Don’t be intimidated by the size of the school. It might take a day or two but you will get it.  If you are organized you will do well.  Know where your friends are in the morning and walk with your class to lunch.  You will not be hurt by the upperclassmen.  Second chance breakfast is your best friend. The Pop Tarts are a lifesaver.  Get involved after school to meet people older than you and have a variety of friends.  Carrying your book bag versus using the locker is so much better!
