Pinds LBP Test Mini Abstract : A newly developed user-friendly 10-item scale showed potential for helping predict length of sick leave duration for acute lumbar back pain at the first consultation with the general practitioner. A low rate of bed rest and referral to X-ray examination may even have been a result of discussing with the patient the specific questions on the scale. After 2 weeks 10 % were on sick leave, after 7 weeks only 4%
