CTC Activity to Sri Swamy Omananda Geetashrama

Objective:  To be part of the CTC (Connect to Community) activity of AFN  To be able to share life’s joys with our kith and kin  To spread the message of Togetherness and Oneness amongst the youth of today What did we TAKE AWAY:  We saw the many Hidden Shining GEMS of our Sacred Motherland  The Exuberance, Energy and Joy exhibited by the ashram kids was a pleasurable sight  We realized what it meant to live a COMPLETE LIFE

More About the Visit  Date of Visit :  Place of Visit : Sri Swamy Omananda Geetashrama, Shri Shivananda Veda Agama Mahavidyalaya  About the Place : A Home that houses 90 BRILLIANT GEMS in various age groups starting from Ist Standard. The kids are provided with all the basic facilities and their education is also taken care off by the ashram  Run by : Sharma

We kick started with Bhajans that was headed by Manoj, Vishwa, Nagalatha and Sushma. The enthusiasm and joy exhibited by the kids was mind blowing. In fact they seemed to know more than us

Everyone was so deeply involved…………….into a state of ETERNAL BLISS What a joyful sight that was !!!! This is TRUE JOY

True CARING has no boundaries and this was clearly visible – the joy seen on the faces of Sandhya, Sathyabhama, Prasanna, Ankitha, Shilpa……. LIFE can be more beautiful than IMAGINATION and we just realized that..….

There was sumptuous lunch served and the kids just enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed serving them… Prayers were offered to the Lord before the lunch……….

These beautiful and innocent faces only remind us that there are colorful ROSES that are getting ready to bloom and spread brightness around us and that we are not ALONE in this world……. One is not wealthy unless one has something that money can’t buy By all means these KIDS are the MOST WEALTHIEST as they have INNOCENCE AND HAPPINESS that cannot be bought by MONEY

THANKS to GOD for giving us SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WORLD……….. Charlie Chaplin once said “ Life laughs at us when we are UNHAPPY…. Life smiles at us when we are HAPPY….. BUT Life Salutes us when we make OTHERS HAPPY…..” May this be the beginning ………
