5 I. Engine Warm-up Process Procedure 1. Warm-up is occurred at three cases : Power On, Cover Open/Close, Sleep Wakeup 2. If Warm-up start, Feed Sensor and Exit sensor is judged that the sensor is active or inactive, if active, we judge that printer’path is having a paper. After JAM Warm-up that Remove the paper, carry out normal Warm-up. 3. As soon as Warm-up, Unit that Fixing the tonor is heated. If Current Temperature is 130 ℃, Move the Motor. Progress Environment recognition and the process for CR. For reference, before move the Motor, because we wait unit that fixing the toner is heated over 130 ℃. According to Warm-up starting’s temperature, Warm-up time is variable. 4. If the WarmUp Process end, printer’s status is changed to Ready Status. 6 I. Engine Printing Process Procedure 1. If Printer is received the printing command from Driver, First of all, Start the LSU. And then We judge that Poligon Motor(LSU Motor) is reached fixed speed. If not reaching within the fixed time, LSU Error(PMotor Error) is occurred. If reaching within the fixed time, pick up the paper for paper’s moving. 2.After Paper’s pickup, if Feed Sensor is not detected the paper, Repick up the paper. For all that, if not detecting the paper, we occurred the Paper Jam0(Re-pickup twice) 3. Normally, if Feed Sensor is detecting the paper, send the Psync signal, expose the Video Data to OPC. And judge that Hsync signal(to detect Video Data according to each Line) is recevied. If Hsync is not received, printer will occurred LSU Error(HSync Error). 4. Normally, After detecting the Hsync Signal, progress the transfer process. 5. Finally, judge that the paper get out of Feed Sensor. Printer’s status change Printing to Ready. If the paper don’t get out of Feed Sensor or Exit Sensor, occurred the Paper Jam.

9 IV.EDC Mode EDC Mode is independently controled system f/w and diagnose printer ’ s each function. Printer ’ s elements which is diagnosed. Sensor (Feed, Exit, Regi, Empty, Out bin … ) - To diagnose all sensor status. Feeding the Paper (Motor,Solenoid,Clutch … ) - To diagnose all Motor, Solenoid, Clutch Development(DEV,MHV,THV … ) - To diagnose all High Voltage for the development. Exposure(LD,LSU … ) – To diagnose LSU and related Units. Fixing the toner(Fuser unit … ) – To diagnose the fuser unit.
