STAY THE COURSE Matthew 24:1-14

The Condition of a Nation Psalm 33:12 – Blessed is the nation who’s God is the Lord The opposite is true: a nation who no longer allows God to be the Lord will not be blessed Jesus addresses 3 major areas of concern so that we may STAY THE COURSE:

Rumors Inundated with political correctness; opinion polls; media influences, racial issues, etc. There are so many distractions in our world that we are losing focus on the things that matter… Jesus states: Don’t be mislead – STAY THE COURSE We must get to know Him better

RELIGION 2 Timothy 3:1-9 – religion comes in many forms and shapes: sports, money, objects, etc. Religion can delay or even stunt our growth in Christ when He is not first… Jesus made it clear – “I AM THE MESSIAH” We must walk with Him everyday in order for us to STAY THE COURSE

RELATIONSHIPS 2 Timothy 3:1-9 – emotional and irrational behavior towards others will be more pronounced – hostilities and bitterness abound when Christ is removed We are called to endure these things by way of STAYING THE COURSE We must live daily for Christ
