A Penny Sales Tax! Why? The City of Crestview has currently identified nine transportation projects. These projects will provide for alternate routes to allow travelers to move in and around Crestview without traveling on Highway 85. The costs for these projects will exceed $15 million. There are no immediate sources of funding available to the City. The one-cent sales tax is temporary and allows tourists, non-property owners and transients to contribute.
