Spot the Leadership Style

Which service fits which style? Use the cards to place against the styles of leadership that best fit. There may be more than one service that fits! authoritarian; democratic; laissez-faire; transactional; transformational; bureaucratic; people orientated; task orientated

Task 3 Impressed with your presentation you have been asked by the MOD to write an article for their magazine on Leadership styles. You will need to draw on information from your presentation to compare different leadership styles in the public services sector. You will need to point out the similarities and differences in the styles used, noting any impacts that these styles may have on the roles they perform. You must also evaluate the effectiveness of the leadership styles utilised in the sector, and draw conclusions about why this is the case.
