A brief history of RPC… Formerly known as WARP (Washington Association for Research and Planning – no formerly recognized structure or work plan) Granted commission status in 2012 Reports to the Educational Services Committee of WACTC Develops an annual work plan, submitted to the Ed Services Committee Completes tasks outside of the work plan, as requested by the Ed Services Committee

RPC Mission Areas Mission Area 1: Provide applied research and analysis services to the Washington Association for Community and Technical Colleges (WACTC) and the various commissions, councils, committees and task forces within the WACTC structure Mission Area 2: Collaborate with the SBCTC to improve the availability and quality of data and to support college accountability and performance efforts Mission Area 3: Support and encourage the professional development of RPC members
