How to do a Drop punt To do a drop punt you need to 1.Hold the ball over the thigh of the kicking leg. 2. Point the ball straight down. 3. Have your hands on the line. 4.Look where you are going to kick the ball and point your toe at the target. 5.Drop the ball and watch where you drop the ball. 6. Follow through with your leg and keep your eyes on the ball. 7. Do not throw the ball up when you are kicking the ball.
