SS HW #2: Salt Festival Research – Gather evidence about 5 Cultural Elements and 5 Characteristics of Civilization for the Early EU Settlers in the Ohio Valley. Types of evidence: - Credible text (e.g. Park pamphlets, recording information from Museum exhibits, or information from the park website - Quotations (e.g. Ask Park Rangers – ask for their names, ask to video Re-enacters) - Personal experiences (Write up a brief description of an old time game you play or craft you create.) - Observations – create a drawing or take photos - Statistics and numbers (e.g. information on the “History” page on the website. For example, how many gallons of salt had to be boiled down to create 1 bushel of salt?) - Artifacts You do not need to buy anything, but if you do, you may have an artifact to share.
